• Some house hunters are more independent than others. They like to tour around on their own and swing by properties at their convenience. This is not always to be recommended since the agent that will greet you is representing the seller, but sometimes it’s not always realistic to call your agent when you happen to pass something interesting on the way home. That’s ok, but if you’re working with a Realtor, you must remember to register them at each property you visit.

With most development sites, you will be asked to register at the front desk before being allowed to tour the models. On the registration form there is a space for you to write the name of your Realtor or real estate agency. If you leave this blank, the developer will usually refuse to allow you to be represented by your agent at a later date!

At Condo Metropolis, this has already happened twice this year and our clients have found themselves left out in the cold. So we’ve come up with a solution.

    Pre-filled electronic registration cards.

Print as many as you like, take them with you – or just leave them in the car for that impromptu visit!

Of course we recommend you come back to us once you’ve narrowed down your choices – we’d be happy to tour your final selection with you and give you the inside scoop on your favorites when you’re closer to making a decision. As one of our clients, we’ll also negotiate the best pricing an incentives on your behalf, assist with the paperwork & inspections and get you to the closing table (all services FREE for buyers).

On the other hand, if you use one of or cards and then decide never to use our full service, then provided you register us as your agent during your first visit, we will rebate 50% of the sales commission to you on closing!* Here’s how:

Just fill out the card in advance, print off as many copies as you need and hand one to the receptionist at each community you visit – and you’ll be good to go!

Remember: If you fail to register us as your agent when you first visit a property, the developer will usually prevent us from representing you at a later stage.

    * Offer does not apply to clients already contracted with Condo Metropolis or clients who become exclusively represented by us or any other agency. Buyer must not be working with another real estate agent. Auctions & distressed sales excluded.
