    AAA says it doesn't expect motorists east of the Rocky Mountains to have to pay $3 a gallon or more this spring. Um, okay... According to AAA the nationwide price of self-serve regular gasoline is currently $2.54 a gallon, though the statewide average in California is $3.12 a gallon. Florida currently averages $2.57 per gallon, while Orlando's current average for self-serve regular is $2.53.     Rumor has it that MetroWest may soon have it's own police sub-station. And not before time. Two nights ago I woke up to a noise that sounded like a shotgun. It turned out to be a vehicle in the condo complex across the street that was ablaze - complete with exploding tires and gas tank. It took the police about twenty minutes to get there.     Engineering crews began clearing the ground at the site of the Blue Rose today. The 13 acre site will become home to Orlando's largest condo hotel. Work will continue as the property prepares for actual groundbreaking. The sales center was also busy having hosted its casino night over the weekend. Condo Metropolis was there along with 600 other VIPs and much fun (and alcohol) was had by all!
