June is National Homeownership Month – it’s sort of like Mother’s Day – except you don’t have to buy anyone a card. Very cool. And as part of “celebrating” homeownership, Florida Housing is hosting a number of events in Orlando, including their 2007 HomeBuyer Expo. The expo was last Saturday, at the Orange County Convention Center. Yes, you missed it. But Condo Metropolis was there – and we’ll be bringing you a video of the fun we had soon!

Highlights of the expo included free credit reports and credit counseling, workshops and seminars on securing financing, understanding the loan closing process (yawn) and determining how much you can afford. But seriously we had fun – and we hope we helped a few folk understand the home buying process a little better! Now who knows how to work that Microsoft Movie Maker Program?
