After just 3 months since the launch of Condo Metropolis, the Orlando online condo company has rocketed to the first page of Google’s search results.
CondoMetropolis.com currently ranks #9 out of about 3.3 million results. The MSN and AOL search engines also return Condo Metropolis as the #9 result. The results are not paid for but are considered organic, “a result of key word optimization and relevant content.”
We’re very pleased, said Marcus Burke, founder of the Condo Metropolis. High Google rankings have been a primary goal of the company since its inception, but we didn’t expect it to happen so quickly because real estate terms are so incredibly competitive.
However getting there doesn’t guarantee staying there. We’re going to have to work hard to maintain this, said Burke. Rankings change regularly. This time next week we could be on page 5 if we don’t work at it every day.
For developers, this means a greater exposure to their communities. Because most developers and their marketing teams are not always internet savvy, their sites are rarely found using keyword searches unless they pay for the listings, a practice that can cost anywhere between a thousand to five thousand dollars a month.
CondoMetropolis.com was launched in December 2006. The company hosts Orlando’s largest online database of condos. Developers are able to list for free. Buyers are able to browse Orlando’s condos for free without having to leave the comfort of home and without hopping from site to site.
